AIM Diversified Strategies Fund was nominated for the 2018 Nordic Hedge Award

AIM Diversified Strategies Fund was nominated for the 2018 Nordic Hedge Award in the category of Best Nordic Fund of Hedge Fund.  

The nominees were selected using a quantitative model co-developed with the Stockholm School of Economics. The winners of the 2018 Nordic Hedge Award will be announced on April 10th 2019 in Stockholm.

While last year was among the worst for hedge funds since the financial crisis, the AIM Diversified Strategies Fund posted steady returns of 2.4%.

AIM Capital has appointed Miikka Hautamaki, CFA, as CEO

AIM Capital announced on 17 January 2019 that it has appointed Miikka Hautamaki, CFA, as CEO.

Prior to Aim Capital, Miikka Hautamaki co-founded alternative investment fund manager Gramont Capital. Earlier in his career, he was a portfolio manager and a partner at Brummer & Partners Avenir and a portfolio trader at Goldman Sachs in London.

He has 17 years of investment and financial markets experience and holds a Master's degree in Finance from Helsinki School of Economics, a Master's degree in Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology and is a CFA charterholder. In addition, he serves as a member of the board of directors of the CFA Society Finland.

AIM Capital funds receive recognition at Nordic Hedge Awards

April 26th 2017 the best Nordic hedge funds were distinguished for their performance during 2016 at the Nordic Hedge Award.

It was the fifth year HedgeNordic in collaboration with the Stockholm School of Economics and Swedish House of Finance and support of a jury board determined this ranking.
